This is the crafting recipe to make a beacon: you need 5 glass blocks, 3 obsidion and 1 Nether star. Beacons are important because you can get special efects like haste regeneration, swiftness, speed and absorption.

Did you know if you want to get mob heads,use a looting three on your sword. That means your have a higher chance of them dropping. They are a good idea for pranking, like pretending to be a zombie. Another prank idea is to put Curse of Vanishing on another players armour so when they die they won't get their armour back. It's funny watching them running around trying to find their armour.
