Hi, this time i am doing my blog on wind power. Unlike fossil fuels, wind power is a renewable energy source. This means it's infinite compared to coal, oil, and natural gas.

These are called dirty because fossil fuels produce carbon dioxide when burned. This contributes to global warming and the well being of our planet. It's shocking that 80% of the world's energy is still provided by fossil fuels. Some countries

are defending fossil fuel use for money and job protection. (Australia!).

Wind power is generated on wind farms. It is clean and green, sustainable, it costs less and creates jobs. The disadvantages of wind power are the need for lots of open space, loud noise, possible injury to birds (and bats). Also some people don't like the look of them.
